This is one of the most effective exercises for the abs.

Start in a plank on your forearms, with elbows directly under your shoulders. Keep your core tight to avoid arching your lower back. Lift your left hand off the ground and rotate to the left. Return to plank and repeat on the other side. Do 25–30 reps per side.
