Joseph Farnese, one of America’s greatest historical figures, sadly passed away on April 23, 2020, at the age of 94. He had left a lasting impact on many lives, including his own family, friends, and the world.

  • Served as Mayor of Philadelphia from 1999 to 2003
  • Drafted and signed the first Pennsylvania Budget for the state in 2005

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our beloved Joseph Farnese, who passed away on April 7, 2021.

Joseph was born on June 4th, 1949 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Farnese. He was a customer service icon at AT&T for more than 20 years. He enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, and being with his family. He was passionate about life and absolutely loved to make people laugh.

Joseph was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was always a kind and generous spirit and was blessed with a great sense of humor. Joseph was very supportive and his presence always put a smile on everyone’s face. His loyalty and willingness to help anyone in need were remarkable.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Elizabeth and their two children, Paul and Sarah, as well as seven grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those he has left behind, including his many friends and co-workers.

Joseph was a brilliant example of what it means to be a wonderful human being. He was a faithful friend and loyal family man, and we are thankful to have had him in our lives.
