Fulham boss Silva is hopeful that striker Mitrovic’s injury is not serious. The Serbian international was forced off in the first half of Fulham’s 2-1 defeat to Southampton on Saturday with what appeared to be a hamstring problem.
Speaking after the game, Silva said: “We will see tomorrow (Sunday) but I hope it is not serious. He felt something in his hamstring so we will see.”
Mitrovic has been in fine form for Fulham this season, scoring 15 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions. His absence would be a big blow for the Cottagers as they look to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
