New map changes
The mid-season update for Call of Duty: Warzone is now live, and with it comes a new map layout and some changes to existing maps.
The biggest change is to Verdansk, which has been bisected by a massive wall that has cut the map in half. The wall was built to contain the zombie outbreak, but it also means that there are now two separate battle royales taking place on the same map.
There are also changes to the way that respawns work in Warzone. Now, when you die, you will drop your weapon and equipment and will be able to call in a squadmate to revive you. If you don’t have a squadmate, you can still revive yourself, but you’ll be without weapons or gear.
Finally, there are some new weapons and items that have been added to Warzone. These include the Juggernaut suit, which makes you immune to damage for a short period of time, and the Zombie Virus grenade, which turns enemies into zombies.
