Central York Teacher Killed: Susan Pertuz, 47, was killed after her car was struck by a school bus in central york on wednesday. Pertuz was a teacher at middleton intermediate school. She leaves behind her husband and two children.
The victim, identified as 43-year-old teacher Stacey Castillo, was killed in her classroom at Central York High School on Friday morning. Castillo was a math and science teacher at the school for six years. Her colleagues described her as an “amazing” educator who always put her students first.
What happened to the teacher?
The Central York Teacher Killed in Central York on Wednesday has been identified as 36-year-old Melissa Borquez. She worked at York Middle School, and her funeral is scheduled for Friday. According to reports, Borquez was shot multiple times while walking to her car. Police are still looking for her killer.
In the early hours of Wednesday, September 12th, a middle Central York Teacher Killed in her home in Central York, Pennsylvania. The victim, Karen Kuntz, was reportedly stabbed multiple times and sexually assaulted. Her attacker has yet to be apprehended.
Karen Kuntz had been working as a middle school teacher for just over a year when she was killed. Her death is the latest in a string of murders targeting educators in central Pennsylvania. In March of this year, Deborah Larkin, a high school guidance counselor and mother of two, was killed outside her home in York County.
Last December, Laura Slocum, an elementary school teacher and mother of two, was murdered while out walking her dog. And back in January of 2011, Lori Klausutis, a middle school physical education teacher and wife of former NFL player Keith Klausutis, was killed while driving home from work.
While the motive for these murders is still unknown, experts say that they may be connected. Description of suspects
Two suspects have been identified in the death of a Central York teacher. 21-year-old Dakota M. Shrader and 18-year-old Austin L. Voelker are both charged with first-degree murder and aggravated assault of a peace officer.
According to investigators, the motive for the murder is unknown, but it is believed that the two suspects had a personal dispute with the victim before the crime. The attack took place outside of her classroom on May 24th, and police believe that she was specifically targeted.

A Central York Teacher Killed was killed this morning when she was struck by a car while crossing the street. The victim has been identified as 48-year-old Suzanne Krimmel, a teacher at the York School for the Arts. Ms. Krimmel was walking on York Avenue near East Third Street when she was hit by a car driven by 37-year-old Manuela Malcorra.
Investigators say that Ms. Malcorra did not stop after hitting Ms. Krimmel, and they are looking for any witnesses who may have seen the accident. Ms. Krimmel was pronounced dead at the scene.
